| Alec Finlay is an internationally-recognised artist whose work crosses a range of media and forms, from poetry, sculpture and collage, to audio-visual, neon and new technologies. Born in Scotland in 1966, much of his work reflects on our interaction with nature considering how we, as a culture, or cultures, relate to landscape. Combined with major interventions such as his wind turbines, and his pervasive web-based media projects, Finlay?s practice weaves together generous experiential works. He has also published over twenty books, and won two Scottish Design Awards. | |
